What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who's responsible for your data

William Goold, trading as MyTravelGym, is the data controller.

Principal place of business: Churchstow, Church Lane, Houghton, Hampshire, SO20 6LJ. Contact us about anything on this page at mytravelgym@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you order: your name, email, delivery address and phone number. We need these to take payment, send your order and deal with any problems. The legal basis is performing our contract with you.

When you contact us: your name, email and what you wrote, so we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering customers.

When you join the restock list: your email only. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

When you browse: a page view, and a code made by scrambling your IP address and browser type together with today's date. That code can't be traced back to you and is meaningless the next day. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is working.

Cookies

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't share anything with advertisers.

Your browser stores two things on your own device, and neither leaves your computer: your shopping basket, so it survives a refresh, and a note that you've already seen or dismissed the sign-up box, so it doesn't keep asking.

Because we set no non-essential cookies, you won't see a cookie banner.

Who else sees your data

Stripe processes payments and handles your card details directly — we never receive them.

Resend sends our emails.

Render hosts the site and database, within the EU.

Royal Mail or another carrier receives your delivery address so they can deliver your parcel.

That's the full list. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

Order records: six years, because HMRC requires it.

Contact messages: two years.

Restock list: until you unsubscribe.

Page views: 12 months, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email us and we'll respond within one month, free of charge.

If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd rather you told us first so we can put it right.
